MULTNOMAH COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY CRITICIZES U.S. CONGRESSMAN EARL BLUMENAUER FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF PORTLAND RIOTERS

This morning, independent Journalist "Villain Phoenix" interviewed the alleged operator of Riot Ribs, which has been operating across the street from the federal courthouse under nightly siege by Portland rioters.  The interviewee, who identifies himself as "Lorenzo, who started Riot Ribs," claims that "Earl Blumenauer, the Democrat for Oregon, he donated and told his friends to, so we got $600,000."  The MCRP condemns Congressman Blumenauer's support of rioters in Portland, and urges Congressional District 3 voters to vote for his opponent, Joanna Harbour, in November.

MULTNOMAH COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY CRITICIZES GRESHAM'S PROMOTION OF RADICAL MARXIST BLM GROUP AND ANNOUNCES DEMONSTRATION

The Multnomah County Republican Party (MCRP) warns the people of Gresham that their entire City Council is either clueless or committed to overthrowing the Constitution.  The City Council has unanimously approved the flying of a flag that constitutes the official logo of a radical Marxist "Black Lives Matters" group.  The distinctive "three yellow stripe" flag Gresham is flying is the same flag sold on the Marxist group's website.

An Inspirational Message

The following is an inspirational message from "Sundance" at theconservativetreehouse.com (here), which applies to our struggle here in Multnomah County between now and November.

Soon you will be called into action. In the interim do not worry yourself with dark imaginings. Turn your fear into resolve; turn that resolve into action. I am not going to be discouraged… check that…. I purposefully choose not to be discouraged. Each of us has the ability to control our thoughts.

POOR LEADERSHIP EMBARRASSES AND ENDANGERS THE CITY, SAYS MULTNOMAH COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY

The Multnomah County Republican Party wants Portland residents to remember that a well-recognized riot control technique is to encircle a rioting crowd, arrest every person in it for riot, confiscate all the video evidence, and then use it to charge the wrongdoers with felony riot, holding and identifying all participants while the evidence is quickly screened. The Portland Police Bureau demonstrated it could do exactly that on June 4, 2018, but the City of Portland rejected this policy in favor of protecting the civil rights of those who disobey police orders to leave illegal, violent and destructive riot scenes—and now violate curfew orders.

MCRP Petition to Re-Open Oregon Reaches 1,000 signatures

The Multnomah County Republican Party (MCRP) is pleased to report that over 1,000 people have signed its online petition to re-open Oregon for business (available here:  https://www.multnomahgop.org/covid_19_petition).  While Oregon has failed to report results from random antibody testing of the population to confirm the percentage of Oregon’s population that has already acquired immunity to the virus, there is ample data available from tests throughout the country to confirm that the fatality rate of the virus is a fraction of early estimates.

“It is well within the capacity of Oregon’s government to protect those known to be vulnerable to the virus, isolate those confirmed to be infected, and open most workplaces and small businesses, using prudent precautions to limit risks associated with large gatherings,” said MCRP Chair James Buchal.  “There is no justification for continuing massive restrictions on the freedom of Oregonians to make their own risk assessments, and protect themselves, their families and their customers or clients.”
