Someone called the Multnomah County Republican Office asking about Oregon's primary impact on republican presidential race delegates. So to clear any confusion, here is a good portion of the Oregon Republican Party press release:
OREGON REPUBLICAN PARTY ANNOUNCES NATIONAL DELEGATE ALLOCATIONS
WILSONVILLE, OR -- Today, Oregon Republican Party (ORP) Chairman Bill Currier announced the national delegate allocations for the three presidential candidates received following the May 17, 2016 Primary Election.
The ORP, using the Unofficial Elections Results from the Oregon Secretary of State web site, as of May 19, 2016, 7:50am, determined the following allocation.
Donald Trump receives ten (10) At Large Delegates and Alternates plus one (1) Delegate and Alternate from each of the five (5) Congressional Districts. Mr. Trump will also receive the three (3) votes from Oregon’s Republican National Committee Members.
Ted Cruz and John Kasich will each receive one (1) Delegate and Alternate from the five (5) Congressional Districts.
I hope this clears up any confusion.
