Oregon Stand for Representation

This is not an official MCRP event.

Speech-givers:

Mark Callahan, former senatorial candidate
Mike Nearman, Republican state legislator

Keynote speakers:
Bill Currier, Oregon Republican Party Chairman
Joey Gibson, Patriot Prayer and Warriors for Freedom

In light of the actions taken by Governor Kate Brown, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, and out-of-touch legislators who continue to raise taxes without consulting Citizens, create laws which favor illegal aliens over citizens, and allow runaway spending to run our state into debt while not properly maintaining facilities and resources of the state, we choose to stand for change. We call on all government officials to secure for ourselves the right to impeach our governor, to vote on tax increases before they are enacted into law, and to remove any laws which allow illegal immigrants to run free in our state without being apprehended for deportation or detention. We call for a revitalization of our representation as citizens in our state legislature and to ensure that the will and agenda of legislators or our governor never supersede the will of the people. Our voices and cries will not be silence and we the people must take a stand to reverse the roles and get Oregon back on track for a future that holds the people and their best interests above the interests of out-of-touch politicians.
