There are so many things going on, it's hard to know where to begin!

New Website And Social Media Sites

We have FINALLY replaced our website! This is the culmination of a 3 year process, and a vision of what we really wanted to get out of our presence on the web. The platform chosen by the Executive Committee is called Nationbuilder. This new platform allows us to integrate big data, social media, email and even text messaging. This is not just a website - it's a powerful system that allows us to exponentially expand our influence, both online and in real time as we canvass our neighborhoods and call our supporters.

Check it out at www.multnomahgop.org. There are several things you should do right away when you get to the site:
1.    Sign up for email alerts at www.multnomahgop.org/sign-up. You'll receive the latest news and action alerts right in your inbox. You can even sign up for text alerts direct to your mobile phone!
2.    Admit it. You're tired of shouting at your TV, and you want to DO SOMETHING!
But, how? Where? Who can hook you up? Check out www.multnomahgop.org/take-action to see all the different ways you can channel that energy into something productive.
3.    Check out the Blog, the latest videos and connect with us on social media. We have a new Facebook Page, YouTube Channel and Google+ page to go along with our Twitter account. It's simple - all of that is right on the home page!
4.    Last but not least, if you have the ability, please hit the Donate Button. You know the Portland Left has unlimited resources. You know that we need to fight back. Please give whatever you can - every little bit matters.
Central Committee Meeting

Our October Central Committee Meeting is set, and it's going to be a great one. Our Keynote Speaker will be Art Robinson, the newly elected Chair of the Oregon Republican Party. Art will share with us his vision for voter registration and candidate recruitment heading into the 2014 election season. We will also conduct a live demonstration of our website functionality. You won't want to miss this!

Save The Date - Lincoln Day Dinner 2014 Is Approaching

And speaking of 2014 - our Lincoln Day Dinner will be here before you know it. We aren't quite ready yet to announce the speaker or the venue, but if things work out the way we hope, you're not going to want to miss this one either. Do yourself a favor and mark February 15, 2014 on your calendar. More details to come!
